Hip Hop HIIT
High-intensity intervals meet hip hop choreography. Squat, jump and groove your way through a sweaty, beat-driven workout — no dance experience needed.

- High Intensity
Where hip hop swagger meets serious sweat. Hip Hop HIIT combines high-intensity intervals with dance-inspired moves set to hard-hitting beats. You’ll squat, jump, groove, and push your limits — all while vibing to hip hop anthems that keep your energy high and your motivation higher.
The class runs in intervals: a burst of work, a short recovery, and straight into the next round. The work is where the dance comes in — instead of grinding through another set of jumping jacks, you’re moving through hip hop-inspired combinations that happen to be brutal on your legs and core. Your heart rate climbs because you’re having fun, not because you’re watching a clock.
We warm up properly before anything gets fast, and every movement has a lower-impact option. If jumping isn’t for you today, there’s a grounded version of the same move and you’ll still get the work. Nobody is checking whether you took it. The instructor cues both versions from the front, so you can switch mid-class as your energy changes.
You do not need to be a dancer. The choreography is built around repetition — you’ll see the same handful of moves come back through the class, so by the third round you’re not thinking about the steps any more, you’re just going. People who arrive convinced they have no rhythm tend to be the ones still coming back six months later.
It also pairs well with the rest of the schedule. The cardio base you build here makes Throw Down® feel more manageable, and the strength work in Weights & Werk gives you more to push off with when the jumps come round again.
Come with water, a towel and shoes you can actually push off in. Wear something you can move hard in and expect to sweat through. Arrive a few minutes early if it’s your first time so we can say hello and point you at the good spot on the floor.
