Stretch & Strength
Low-impact strength and mobility work that leaves you feeling stretched rather than wrecked. Gentle on joints, honest about the effort.
- All Levels
- Low Intensity
This class combines fluid movements, low-impact cardio, gentle stretching, and muscle-safe exercises. You’ll build strength, flexibility, and endurance while improving overall body awareness. This class blends intentional movement, light resistance, and energizing exercises to keep your body moving, challenge your muscles, and leave you feeling strong, stretched, and revitalized.
Nothing in the hour asks you to jump, land or move at speed. That is deliberate — it makes the class workable on days when your joints are complaining, and it means the effort goes into control rather than momentum. Slower does not mean easier. Holding a position honestly for thirty seconds is harder than rushing through it, and this class asks you to do the honest version.
A session moves through mobility work to open up whatever has been sitting stiff all week, into light resistance for the muscles that support your posture — glutes, back, shoulders, deep core — and finishes with real stretching, long enough to actually change something rather than a token thirty seconds at the door.
Body awareness is the part people notice first away from the studio. Learning where your ribs and hips are meant to sit shows up in how you stand at a desk, lift a bag, or get out of a car. Students often say the class made their other workouts feel better, which is usually just this: things are moving through their proper range again.
It is also a good class to put next to the harder ones rather than instead of them. Booking it the day after Throw Down® or Hip Hop HIIT gives your legs somewhere useful to go — you keep moving, the stiffness clears faster, and you are not simply sitting still on your rest day.
All levels genuinely means all levels. Everything scales up with a longer hold or heavier band, and scales down without any fuss. Bring water, a mat or thick towel for the floor sections, and layers you can peel off — you warm up more than you expect for a low-impact class.
